The Open Multipurpose Minor Center (art.104 R.R. n 4/2007) is an educational and cultural service, aimed at the growth and well-being of young people, pre-adolescents and adolescents. The center is a structure open to the participation, even if not continuous, of minors and young people from the area and works in close connection with the area services and with the educational institutions, through the planning and implementation of socialization and educational interventions -recreational aimed at promoting the well-being of the community and counteracting phenomena of marginalization and minor discomfort.
The Magicabula Children’s Multipurpose Center is registered in the Catalog of the offer for the provision of Service Vouchers for children and adolescents.
The structure, located in Noicàttaro in via Pietro Nenni n. 14/21-22, is articulated on a level appropriate to the rules on hygiene, accident prevention rules, removal of architectural barriers, fire prevention, etc.
With specific agreements, the Center makes use of external structures to carry out some activities, in particular those concerning sports.
The Center actively collaborates with other educational services present in the area such as elementary, middle and high schools as well as working in a network with various Associations, Cooperatives and Parishes with a view to comparison, sharing and co-planning of interventions on the territory in favor of minors.
The Ludic-recreational activities target children and young people aged 6, adolescents and young people up to 24 years of age
For children and teenagers there are sports activities, recreational play workshops (theater, music, food education, play activities, etc.), outings, parties.
The MAGICABULA MINORS MULTIPURPOSE CENTER has the following staff:
- 1 Coordinator
- 2 socio-cultural animators
- 1 educator
- 2 auxiliary personnel
The presence of the staff is guaranteed on the following days:
From MONDAY to SATURDAY
- AFTERNOON: from 14.30 to 21.00
- MORNING: from 08.00 to 14.00
- AFTERNOON: from 14.30 to 21.00
